Bridges at Hancock
Welcome to The Bridges at Hancock Bed and Breakfast. Nestled in the hills just outside Pine Bush New York, our spacious and manicured grounds offer a beautiful backdrop for weddings, banquets, and a range of other activities. This is a 60+ acre forested country property with ponds for fishing, streams that course throughout, bridges to cross them on well marked trails, grassy meadows for sport, fields and paddocks, and plenty of room to explore. The main house is all yours, and the grounds are for your enjoyment; please be courteous to the ground floor apartment resident though. Everything is yours to explore The owners live in the carriage house and are always accessible to guests if desired The quaint town of Pine Bush is under 2 miles away and has all manner of restaurants and shops. There are multiple vineyards, breweries, distilleries, cider mills, and bars within 30 minute drive; Shawangunk wine trail and Angry Orchard for example. This is horse country and the Buckley Horse Farm is in our backyard accessible by trails through the woods. Travel by car is the most common in this rural area, but taxis and Uber/Lift are easy to get. The nearest train stations from NYC are Beacon on MetroNorth from Grand Central (30 minutes drive), and Middletown on NJ Transit from Penn (20 minute drive). We also do contract private drivers for airport arrival/departures and winery, brewery, distillery tours. A quick walk into town takes about 20 minutes along horse farms and rivers. Hiking through forests, along streams and ponds, kayaking Shawangunk river, Mountain biking, horseback riding, ATVs, and snowmobiles can enjoy our trails with prior consent as well. There is a ground floor apartment attached to the house, which has its entrance around back. There are no shared spaces nor entrances, but we ask that you be courteous to the tenant and her young child.
