Barn Sanctuary

Our Barn Sanctuary sits on five acres of land filled with chirping birds, a fire pit, outdoor dining, and room to play. It's two miles from the beaches and walking distance from an ice cream parlor. You can Uber or bus to Down Town Newport, restaurants, Newport Vineyard, Providence or Newport Mansions. Great space for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, and pets. We have two cats and a young Borgi pup. Your host is a photographer and offers portraits too. What a bonus. The space This renovated barn is an amazing and quiet place with tons of good energy and charm. You will feel very private but close to so many local areas like the beach, downtown Newport and amazing restaurants. The space is an open floor plan with a high ceiling and lots of nice light. The loft bedroom upstairs is cozy and the access to the one bathroom. The couch double bed downstairs in the living space, is super cozy too with an extra memory foam topper if needed. Please note the kitchen area is not a full cooking kitchen but there is a microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, hot plate, a few pots and pans and a tea kettle. There is a mini fridge as well. We love having pets but please be mindful of their muddy feet, especially winter and spring, and if they tend to get on furniture, please bring a sheet or blanket to cover the couch. We have towels for their paws at the entrance. It is an old barn and can be drafty. It's cozy but always nice to have a sweater for indoors. We have AC for the summer months. My husband and I have loved putting an artistic flair to the place with my photographs and bold colors. We love meeting new people but respect your privacy above all. Guest access The barn sits away from our main house so you will feel very private but have access to the yard and outdoor shower that is just outside the door of the barn. We welcome the use of the yard and grill. The door will be open when you arrive but I always try to greet you when possible. If you are going to have more than one vehicle, please let us know. We have room but it helps with our parking arrangement. Other things to note Please remember that you’re staying in a renovated barn, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP. The homeowners do live in the main house but they are not on-site 24/7. Registration Details RE 00656-STR
