"Three Hares Barn" Conversion in Heart of Dartmoor

Three Hares Barn is a converted former barn next to our farmhouse on the eastern side of Dartmoor. It’s located just a 10 minute drive from the charming small town of Chagford, filled with pubs, cafes and small shops. The barn is sat on our smallholding, brimming with angora goats, sheep, pigs and sights of the moor as far as the eye can see. The property has its own garden area with patio furniture, and guests are welcome to wander in the orchard and fields which enjoy lovely views of Dartmoor. The space A spacious, light and warm barn conversion in the heart of Dartmoor. External stairs lead to the front door, which opens into a large kitchen/dining area with electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and small wood burner. Steps lead up to the sitting room, which is open plan to the kitchen/dining room but separated by the balustrade. This has large sofas, an Ultra-Wide HD Smart TV with Netflix, DVD player, masses of books, games and DVDs. The barn has stairs down to 2 bedrooms - one with a king size bed, the other with a super king which can be made into 2 single beds if required. Both bedrooms are en suite, one having a large walk-in shower, the other having a bath with hand-held shower attachment. The property has Wi-fi and 4G mobile phone reception. Central heating is oil-fired. Water is from a private water supply, and is regularly tested. There is a washer/dryer and ironing equipment in an adjacent utility room. The property has its own garden area with patio furniture, and guests are welcome to wander in the orchard and fields (when not occupied by animals), which enjoy lovely views of Dartmoor. There are various dining areas around the property which you are welcome to use. There is parking for 2 large cars. An EV charger is available at cost. As we have a thatched farmhouse and this is a working farm on which we keep Angora goats, Ryeland sheep and a couple of pigs there are a few rules for all our safety and well-being - no pets (including dogs), no smoking, no feeding of the animals except in our presence. Because of the external and internal steps the barn is unsuitable for children under 5, or those for whom mobility is an issue. No parties. Other things to note EV charger available (at cost)
