La Grange

La Grange is ideal for couples, adventurers, business travelers & families. It's a great stop if you are hiking tour du montblanc and don't want to stay at a gite. The chalet is located in a picturesque hammeau close to public transport, nature & walking distance to Argentiere where you will find supermarket, pharmacy, shops, restaurants & bars. The space La Grange is situated in the beautiful hammeau of les Frasserands which is located just up the road from Argentiere. La Grange means barn in french and that’s just about what this chalet was back in the day. Nowadays after several additions and improvements it’s a charming home like nothing you have ever seen, bursting with personality. With stunning views of les Grands Montets from the garden the chalet is a peaceful retreat summer as winter. Close to public transportations with either bus or train. Walking distance to Argentiere where you find supermarket, pharmacy, shops, restaurants and bars. Located inbetween the ski areas of les Grands Montets and le Tour. Great trails for hiking or biking right out your doorstep. Down the road from les Aiguilles rouges nature reserve where you find typical flora and fauna in the alps, wild life, bouldering rocks and climbing. Our rooms; Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom (1 single bed + 1 double bed) 2:nd bedroom with sink in the room (2 double beds) 3:rd bedroom with sink in the room (1 double bed this room is just rented out to people we know...) Bathroom & toilet downstairs + outdoor shower If you wanna feel like home while being away this is the place to stay! Guest access You can access the living room, your room, bathroom & garden. You don't have any access to the kitchen (sanwiches for lunch can be stored in the fridge), if you don't want to eat out we are happy to cook for you for an additional fee. We run a catered chalet in the winter so we are used to cook for people! Just let us know! Breakfast is served 07:30-10:00 (unless agreed otherwise) The main entrance to the chalet is through the garden. During your stay When we are here we live in the same building & we have been hosting guests in different contexts for several years. We are happy to tell you about hiking, biking & other activities in the area. Other things to note You can park just below the house. The access road to the house from the main road is a one way road so please respect that! To drive to the house you have to drive to mont roc and through the village of les Frasserands.
