A private farm located in a tropical rainforest with the majestic view of Mt. Banahaw The space Balai Banahaw is our family vacation farm. Our private farm resort is a 2.5 hectare property located at Lucban - the summer and art capital of Quezon Province.  Lucban sits at 400m above sea level with weather comparable to Tagaytay.  A tropical rainforest,  the flora and fauna are absolutely amazing.  We wake up to most mornings with our farm covered in mist.  When the sun is up, it reveals nature with a thousand hues of greens.  I am delighted by the visits of various kind of birds such as kingfishers, orioles, crows, and storks descending from Mt. Banahaw.  On my stays at the farm,  I tend to forget the rude jolts of the Metro.  Time here is on a gentle standstill - it has lost it's overpowering control and domination. This is our family's happy place, our sanctuary, our paradise.  We spent our happiest days here. We tried to remember the names of endemic trees, plants, and flowers.  Our kids rode horses, carabaos, went fishing, and harvested chicken eggs.  Time went by so fast, and now our kids are grown up and set for life.  One peaceful reflective morning, we decided to open our farm to families or groups that appreciate the blissful peace nature brings.  In 2022,  we made our much-loved vacation farm to a private resort.  When we see families with kids at our farm, we reminisce the time when our kids were still kids.  We are happy to see groups enjoying the serenity of the place, meditating, or simply having time for themselves. All photos on this listing were taken from our phone.  No fancy cameras -no filters.  Like our farm, we do not like artifice.  Our farm is landscaped by loving birds, butterflies, and cool mists in the mornings.  When you try to withhold man's selfish interventions,  nature's artistry takes over. Guests at Balai Banahaw will have exclusive use of our guest villa and pool for the entire duration of their stay.   Our swimming pool is edge-infinity, with view of our forest and cacao seedlings.  Our pool has fountains, waterfalls, kiddie pool, adult pool, and jacuzzi.  Water is sourced from our very own deep well, and is treated for pool use. We have 2 ground cabanas and 2 big hammocks. All cabanas are facing the pool.  On a less cloudy day, one can enjoy  the splendid view of Mt. Banahaw. Our guest house has 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a kitchen, spacious balcony overlooking Mt. Banahaw, and a laundry area. Big families and groups of around 30 can comfortably stay.  A staff is readily available to attend to your needs and to keep the house and surroundings clean and tidy. For guests who need to connect to work or school while on vacation,  our guest villa is equipped with 50 mbps fibr internet.  Our barangay boasts of the magnificent Hangga/Maapon waterfalls.  For adventurous guests,  we can organize the trek to the falls with a licensed guide.  A separate fee of Php300 will be paid directly to the guide.  Each guide can cater to a maximum of 3 guests.  Snacks and bottled water can be provided to guests for a fee of Php 150/guest.  This service should be pre-arranged with us at least 3 days before  arrival. Trekkers should be physically fit. We value our guests' health and safety, so all staffs are fully vaccinated.   Welcome to Balai Banahaw!  We hope to see you soon. Guest access For convenience of our guests, a dedicated parking space for guests of Balai Banahaw is located near the entrance gate. Other things to note We respect nature and all life forms. Our farm is a sanctuary of birds and endemic vegetation. Admire the beauty of nature and the melodious sound of birds and insects but please do not capture them nor pick the flowers. Our main house is a separate structure inside the property. We will respect your privacy but will be available if you need us.
