Very quiet most of the time except for the 4th of July when our boat dock is often a prime location for a big fireworks display. Usually can't tell a Saturday from a Tuesday most of the time as 80-90% of houses in the area are second vacation homes and unoccupied most of the year. Only 2 houses past ours before the Cul-de-sac which are usually empty and separated by trees. Forrest on the other 2 sides. Lake in front of you. Private but Convenient to dock or stores 5-6 miles away. If anyone comes down the road it's usually the mail man. Convenient Parking near Glamper. Great biking and hiking spaces. Close to Knoxville, Cumberland Gap, The Smokey Mountains, Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Cherokee NC and plenty of options should you choose to leave the lake for awhile or against fishing in the rain. About 8 Miles to New Tazewell Municipal Airport and about 9 Miles to Woodlake Golf & Country Club. Hospital, Veterinarian, Groceries, Walmart, Dollar Stores, Subway, McDonald's, KFC, Taco Bell, Local Dining, Antiques & Thrift Shops, etc. all within a 5-7 Mile Drive.
