Little Hills Hideaway

The Little Hills Hideaway is a beautiful one bedroom guest house across the road from the historic mining town of Cerrillos (spanish for little hills), 3 miles north of Madrid and 20 miles south of Santa Fe. Turning off the Turquoise Trail (Hwy 14) onto our unassuming rural road, you will be delighted by what awaits you inside this magical compound. The Hideway is nestled in an inviting oasis of fruit trees, a fish pond, beautiful views and starry skies. Come enjoy the peace of the Hideaway! The space Little Hills Hideaway is an authentic adobe house, approximately 500 square feet, and has been uniquely designed with two levels of living in order to accommodate the surrounding landscape. The kitchen is well appointed with anything you might need to cook or bake, including basic pantry staples. Outside, boosts many fruit trees, a fish pond, beautiful views and an amazing night sky! Guest access There are many places to hang out during your stay. Directly outside the front door of the Hideaway is a private seating area just for guests. The koi pond in front of the Hideaway is a shared space, so you might see Kevin or Kerry having a cup of coffee from time to time out there, but guests are welcome and invited to use those spaces. In addition, an outdoor eating area and grill is available which guests are welcome to use. There is no laundry in the Hideaway, however, we would be happy to arrange for laundry to be done in our house for guests staying longer than three nights. Of course, we understand that laundry emergencies do come up and we would be happy to help in those special circumstances. Other things to note We have decent WiFi, no cable, basic television and a wide array of DVD's located in the Hideaway for guests to enjoy. Cell phone reception is good, but my sister had a little trouble with her at&t carrier out here.
