Haliburton Hideaway!

Welcome to our lakefront cottage located on South Portage Lake about a 10 minute drive from downtown Haliburton. Charming 3 bedroom cottage on large property! Enjoy the beautiful patio overlooking the lake or the dock with a drink in hand! For the kids, they can enjoy the clear water & large lawn for games. There is also a large fire pit to gather around. On a rainy day, cozy up inside beside the large fireplace and open concept living space equipped with wifi and board games for the kids! The space This lake front cottage offers an open concept space with kitchen and living area with sliding doors opening up to a beautiful deck overlooking the lake. There are three bedrooms with the primary bedroom boating a queen bed and a sliding door with access to the deck to enjoy your morning coffee! The second bedroom includes a double bed and third bedroom offers a bunk bed perfect for children. There is one full bathroom on the main floor. The property has a beautiful wrap around deck that goes around the front and back of the cottage and can be accessed from the front of the house or by exiting the house through the sliding doors. There is an outdoor eating area as well as a BBQ. The property is a great size and we have some games and water toys in the shed/storage space available for guests to enjoy (lily pad, we have floaties, noodles, life jacket, ladder ball game, corn hole etc.) There is also a fire pit with ample seating for guests to gather around! Sit out on the dock to enjoy the peacefulness of the lake or jump in the water and relax on our lily pad! For the kids, to the right of the dock, there is a sandy entrance into the shallow water. Guest access We are about a ten minute drive from downtown , located off Kennaway Road. Note: The driveway is steep, so in inclement weather (snow/ ice), you may consider parking at the top of the driveway. Other things to note Please ensure no food is left outdoors over night, to avoid any unwanted guests. There is no boat launch on the property or lake. Also no motorized boats are allowed in the lake. Summer seasonal activities (dock etc) : The dock is generally ready for the May 24 long weekend. Pets are welcome (max: 2) - please note the property is not fenced in and we ask that you please pick up after your pets and do not leave them unattended (inside or out) There is a fire ban in the Haliburton region for the month of April. Lighting an outdoor fire at this time will lead to penalties imposed by the city officials. GUESTS ARE TO TAKE GARBAGE AND RECYCLE BACK WITH THEM AT THE END OF THEIR STAY. Thank you! :)
