Porto, built along the hillsides overlooking the Douro river, is an outstanding and picturesque urban landscape looking back on over 2,000 years of history. In the heart of Porto, in one of its most famous streets, you will find this lovely and completely refurbished apartment. This street, Rua do Almada, crosses the city centre in several points of interest and is full of commercial shops. It is parallel to the famous Aliados where the town hall sits overlooking the main square. The space This apartment is ideal for couples, families and friends that want to enjoy the comfort and relax but also want to be right in the heart of the city, in a comfortable walking distance from most of the points of interest Porto provides. At your disposal you will find one bedroom with one cosy bed for two persons, a living room with one spacious sofa bed for plus 2 persons, one bathroom and a full equipped kitchen containing all the necessary kitchen utensils, fridge, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster and a hand blender. At your disposal, you have an air conditioner, high-speed Wi-Fi, a TV with national and international channels, hairdryer, ironing facilities and some board games. Bed linens and towels are included. To welcome you into our home we leave you some free coffee and tea. The nearest supermarket is a 3-minute walk. The apartment is a 5-minute walk to two of the main metro stations Trindade and Aliados, a 6-minute walk to the nightlife area and a 20-minute walk to the riverside area. Exiting the apartment to your left and walking for 8 minutes you will reach Clérigos Church. At the top of its bell tower you can see not only the city of Porto but the Douro River and Gaia on the other side. Just 2 minutes away from Clérigos you can visit one of the most famous and oldest bookshops in the World, Lello. They have the most beautiful staircase. If you walk 8 minutes down in the direction of the riverside from the apartment and through Aliados you will pass by one of the top points of interest in Porto, São Bento's railway station where you can admire 20,000 azulejo tiles combined to depict some important events in Portuguese history. Just 2 minutes away from here, in Rua das Flores you can find lots of cafés, restaurants, shops and even small museums on this street. From here, wander to the riverside and admire the great Douro river, the houses built on its hillsides and the city Gaia on the other side. Oh and of course, don't forget to try our amazing Port wine in the several Port wine companies' cellars in Gaia's riverside.
