Dog friendly 2 bedroom cottage by the sea, Filey

Nestled in the heart of The Bay an exclusive 5* holiday village just outside Filey. With free onsite swimming pool & gym, bar and restaurant, and many more attractions, there's plenty here for everyone. But in our opinion, the best bit is that just a 10 minute walk along a private path gives direct access to the award winning Filey Bay with its miles of wide sandy beach. And the second best bit is that there are no dog restrictions on this part of the beach all year round! The space Our cottage is perfect for a relaxing stay for couples, friends or small families together with up to 2 dogs . Whether you plan for busy fun filled days or a chilled out relaxing time, our cottage has been thoughtfully equipped to provide everything you may need for that special time away. A modern mid terraced cottage with a surprisingly spacious interior, the entrance hallway has all the space needed for all those shoes, coats and buckets and spades, and the hard flooring makes this the ideal space for wiping down those sandy paws! There's also a handy 2nd toilet here. The main living area is a comfortable open plan space, with a sofa and armchair for relaxing, dining table and 4 chairs for mealtimes or for fun filled evenings playing board games. There's also a TV for those can't miss soaps! The fully fitted kitchen has full size oven and hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and washing machine and all the pots, pans and utensils you need to make delicious meals. But if you don't feel like cooking (and you're on holiday, so why would you!) then the John Paul Jones pub is child and dog friendly and serves everything from breakfast and afternoon tea to delicious pub grub, or why not try one of the many dog friendly pubs and cafes in the local area. Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, one with king-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table and TV. The 2nd bedroom offers 2 small double beds, giving a comfy nights sleep for adult guests. (They are intended for single use only, maximum occupancy of the cottage being 4 adults, please do not exceed occupancy) wardrobe and chest of drawers along with a travel cot and high chair for an additional infant. The family bathroom has toilet, wash hand basin and a large modern walk in shower. Bed linen and towels are included, however please bring your own pool/beach towels. Outside our private sunken patio area with tropical planting, which gives it that extra privacy is ideal for that morning coffee or sharing a glass of wine or G&T in the evening. With gas central heating and double glazing our cottage is warm and cosy for those short winter breaks, come back from an invigorating walk along the beach, draw the curtains and settle down with a hot chocolate and a good book, or in the summer after a fun filled day on the beach, fling open the French doors, let the warm sea breeze waft through the lounge as you relax on the patio in the balmy summers evening. The Dog House is our family holiday home, we love it here, the grandchildren love it here and the dog thinks it's the best place on earth! Come try it, we are sure you will too! Guest access The Bay is easy to find just 3 miles outside Filey. While it's a easy walk along the beach to Filey and public transport passes the end of the road, a car is recommended to make the most of the many attractions in the area. There is ample free off road parking at The Bay, however due to their non allocated parking policy we cannot guarantee parking immediately outside our cottage at busy times. Other things to note Maximum occupancy is 4 including children. 1 additional infant allowed. Maximum of 2 dogs please. While this whole area is extremely dog friendly, we must advise that the patio area is not fully enclosed and dogs need supervision when out here. Dogs must be on leads anywhere else in the village.
