Chic Mountain Cabin with Majestic Views

Description

This unique place has its own style. Chic cabin in the mountains, a life experience inspired by nature, with solar energy and the best views. Located in a safe place, close to the city and meters from Lake Potrerillos. We invite you to enjoy the pleasures of natural and outdoor life, activities such as trekking, mountain biking, kayaking, among the wonderful landscapes that the majestic mountain offers. The space The cabin is equipped with everything you need to make your stay pleasant. It is self-sustaining, generating its own energy through a solar energy system, so during stays with cloudy days we share a video where we explain how to activate the support energy if you need it. It is very simple. To enjoy it to the fullest, you have to understand that although it is a comfortable place with beautiful views, it is still a cabin in the mountains. PLEASE READ THE TIPS AND RECOMMENDATIONS SECTION IN "OTHER DETAILS TO HIGHLIGHT" Other things to note CHIC POTRERILLOS CABIN Welcome!!! Along with greeting you, we want to leave you some tips in order of priorities and details of the operation of the cabin. It is very important to understand the context in which the cabin is located. Cabaña Chic is a cabin in the Mountain located in a Sector where we do not have network services (water, energy, sewers), it is important to understand this to have a comfortable stay. WATER: This point is VERY IMPORTANT, the water in the cabin comes from a cistern, there is no water in the Agua de Red neighborhood, so it is essential to take care of it when using it, both with SHORT BATHS and washing dishes and general use. It is mandatory that you save water, it will help our planet and believe me that with this consumption you are not sacrificing comfort, the most important thing is that you shower and do not sing under the water, with a maximum of 5 minutes a person with long hair has plenty of time for proper grooming. You will feel good!!!! Important fact: In large capitals of Argentina, the average consumption is 900 liters of water per day per person. In Mendoza 300 liters. In Salta 380 L. In Israel only 100 L are used. This data includes washing machines, watering plants etc. The average global consumption is 230 liters per capita, with the highest average consumption in the USA of about 600 liters/day. According to the WHO, between 50 and 100 liters of water per person per day are needed to ensure that basic needs are met. I ask you to make it 70 :) ELECTRICITY: The cabin runs on solar energy. During the day, the energy is stored in batteries, and then during the night it is used. We always recommend using it responsibly, do not leave lights on in places that are not occupied. On cloudy days, I recommend not wasting energy since the batteries may not charge correctly, although the brightness recharges them, it does so only at 30% of what it would be with direct sun. We have a power backup system for days of low or no radiation. We'll share a video to show you how to activate it. It's very easy. Keep in mind that, although it is solar energy, it is 220v electricity, BE CAREFUL!! FIRE: AT THIS POINT IT IS ESSENTIAL TO UNDERSTAND THAT YOU MUST NOT LEAVE EMBERS LIT ON THE GRILL AND IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO BARBECUE WHEN A ZONDA WIND IS FORECAST. GAS: The cabin runs on bottled gas, the gas faucets for the kitchen and the water heater are located just below the latter. The gas bottles are under the cabin. In case the supply runs out, all you have to do is close the empty bottle and open the new one with 3 or 4 turns counterclockwise. HEATER: It works with automatic ignition with batteries, these are located in a receptacle just above the pressurizing pump. This means that the heater does not have the pilot light on, so no gas is wasted and we avoid the risk of Carbon Monoxide. HEATING: The cabin is heated with wood and a gas stove. When the wood stove is in operation, it heats the cabin, leaving it at a pleasant temperature. You can also use the other stove to maintain the temperature. If you need to replace the gas cylinder, remember that the threads loosen to the right and tighten to the left. WASTE: Since there is no waste collection, it is essential to take care of the removal and subsequent deposit of the same in places intended for this purpose, for this you can leave it in any of the containers that are along the peri lake or in the Villa de Potrerillos. REMEMBER THAT IT IS NOT A HOTEL, IT IS A CABIN IN THE MOUNTAINS WITH AUTONOMOUS AND SELF-SUSTAINING SERVICES.
