Cosy, country village cottage

Alpha Cottages is a cosy traditional country cottage with inglenook fireplace, beams and woodburning stove, in the popular village of Shouldham. It has a large pretty private garden and is dog friendly. The cottage overlooks the village green and village community pub family and pet friendly. The village sits on the edge of Shouldham Warren, a beautiful forest with wonderful woodland trails to walk or cycle. A perfect bolthole for exploring both the country side and coast of Norfolk The space Ground Floor: Sitting/dining room, attractively furnished. Inglenook fireplace with woodburning stove, , smart tv, dining table and chairs. Kitchen with electric cooker and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and range. Bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, washbasin and wc. Boot-room with washing machine and access to the garden. First Floor: Accessed by a very steep Norfolk winder staircase, therefore not suitable for everyone. Bedroom 1 (front) Kingsize bed, wardrobe. Bedroom 2 (back) 2 single beds, wardrobe. Garden: rear of cottage, garden picnic table, storage sheds for use of storing bicycles etc (at own risk). Heating: Full central heating and Woodburner (basket of logs provided at a charge) All linen and towels provided along with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Pets: There is an additional £20 charge per stay for pets due to extra cleaning. Well behaved dogs welcome downstairs only. 1 large or 2 small dogs. Please provide your pets own bed/crate and accessories . Supervision of your pet at all time whilst in the garden. Free WiFi This is a non smoking property. Guest access Access to cottage is via 2 steps. Rear access is via shared access. Parking is on road in front of the cottage and around the village green. The award winning Kings Arms Community Pub/restaurant is opposite the cottage and green. Family and dog friendly. Always a warm welcome. Other things to note Steep Norfolk winder stairs with small treads, not suitable for everyone. The bathroom at the property is located on the ground floor with both bedrooms on 1st floor. The Rayburn in the Kitchen is decorative only but there is a full oven and microwave.
