There are two living room areas inside, a well-equipped and stocked kitchen, and three bedrooms with queen beds (one downstairs, two upstairs). Ample parking and walking opportunities. My parents do live next door and can help if needed. I'm also very accessible by phone. The Appalachian Trail can be accessed by a 30-minute drive south to Damascus. Thirty minutes to the west is Bristol, home of the annual Rhythm & Roots festival and the Birthplace of Country Music Museum. If you're looking to relocate to the area, this is a great homebase. Our next-door neighbor is a great realtor. We live in this home part time and our preference is long-term guests. We welcome short-term guests, but we don't set the space up with short-term needs like coffee, snacks, and toiletries. We do have all the sheets and towels needed and condiments and basic cooking staples you're welcome to use.
