Luxury one bedroom 17th century cottage B&B

You’ll be charmed by this adorable place to stay. We have created a self contained one bedroom unit as a luxurious bed and breakfast within our 17 th century farmhouse cottage. It boasts an inglenook fireplace and wood burner with an open plan living and dining area. There is a small kitchenette and a choice of continental breakfast is provided. The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ashcott overlooking the Quantock hills with beautiful views and has access to many country walks. The space The cottage is self contained with a private entrance and a porch area for coats and shoes. Downstairs there is an inglenook fireplace and wood burner. A basket of wood is provided for your stay. The corner sofa has a sofa bed incase you wish to add an extra guest to your booking, but the bathroom is en-suite upstairs so extra guests would have to walk through the bedroom to use the bathroom. There is a dining area, kitchenette and breakfast is provided. I will message you prior to your stay to give you options and find out your choice. Your continental breakfast option will be left ready for you in the cottage. If you are staying for more than one night you can message me your next breakfast option and I will provide refills. Please be aware that there is no hob just small appliances. We have recently added a small single oven. The bedroom boasts a large comfortable superking bed. A firm mattress and feather mattress topper, luxury sheets, duvet and pillows. Please let me know if you would prefer a non feather and down duvet. The bed can be split into two singles - if you prefer this option please let me know prior to your stay. In the en-suite bathroom there is a toilet, sink unit and shower. Plenty of faith in nature bathroom toiletries are provided for your stay and I have also tried to think of lots of other small items that may be useful during your stay. If you have forgotten anything or need anything further always ask as I will try and help you as much as I can! I hope you have a relaxing and comfortable stay. Guest access Turn up the single driveway and guest parking is on the right hand side. The front door porch entrance to the cottage is on the left. In the cottage there is a booklet with more details and maps about local pubs and facilities in Ashcott and nearby. There is a great pub called the Ashcott Inn within 10 minutes walking distance. Other things to note The cottage is designed for just two guests. There is sleeping space for 1 extra guest on a sofa bed but this is at an extra cost per night and must be agreed via the host. If you would like any extra guests to visit at anytime this must also be agreed with the host.
