Karstaway Haven Garden View B&B Room

Comfortable and peaceful countryside surrounds this quiet rural retreat where gardens and animals abound. The karst limestone landscape and native bush walk are key to relaxation and quiet time. A fresh cooked banana pancake or frittata breakfast can be provided for a small extra charge. Hot and cold drinks are available in your room with fresh homemade baking. We do not offer self catering facilities however. The space Very comfortable and spotlessly clean Queen bedroom with all facilities, large shower, bath and vanity, separate toilet. Bedroom overlooks garden and rural views from all aspects. Use of dining space and gazebo area for outdoor dining can be arranged. Gourmet meals can also be provided for an extra cost, however we do not offer self catering facilities. Two windows do not have coverings, however the main window has a blind. We enjoy the garden view and night sky, but if you require total darkness/privacy this accommodation is unsuitable. Guest access Unlimited parking in private off road space well away from public view. Drive to Takaka townsip about 3 minutes, Pohara Beach about 5 minutes and Labyrinth Rocks about 2 minutes. During your stay Please respect our privacy, as this is our home. Please Note : We do not allow guests to use our kitchen or laundry, so if you wish to self cater this is not the accommodation for you!! However if you order breakfast you will be served in our kitchen/dining space, and use of our garden and gazebo is welcomed. Please also be aware that there are two small windows overlooking our garden which do NOT have window coverings, if this is a problem for you please don't book to visit us! Other things to note Henri & Osca are our Mediterranean tortoises. We have a large unfenced pond and numerous tomos so do not cater for children. However well behaved dogs and all pets are very welcome.
