Welcome to bungalow Veluws Vertoeven! Relax in this cozy and romantic bungalow! Located in the cozy village of Putten, with the forests and heath within walking distance for the most beautiful cycling and hiking routes. The space The cozy bungalow is on one level and consists of a spacious living room with open kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bathroom and separate toilet. The comfortable living room features a corner sofa, armchair and a beautiful Full-HD Smart TV (49"). This allows you to enjoy your own streaming services in addition to the regular TV channels (with replay option) so you don't have to miss anything during your vacation on the Veluwe. In addition, you will find a number of books in the cupboard and there are various board games available. For the warmer days, a fan is at your disposal. The living room has large French doors to the beautiful and spacious ceramic terrace which has a nice lounge set with umbrella, surrounded by beautiful plants and mood lighting. The spacious garden has various seats, including a tête-a-tête seat, a picnic table and two sun loungers to relax. The garden has the advantage that the plot is the only plot in the park that has a direct passage to the road, so you are in the forest in no time. The open kitchen is well equipped with various kitchen utensils, has a 4-burner gas stove, combi microwave with oven function, fridge with freezer compartment (July 2023), dishwasher (Miele), kettle and sitting/dining area. Coffee lovers have also been thought of; you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee from the Nespresso (KRUPS) machine. To make your coffee extra luxurious, you can use the Nespresso milk frother. Upon your arrival, various coffee cups are already offered. English tea, sugar and creamer can also be found in the kitchen drawer. There is also olive oil, salt and pepper. From December 2023, bungalow Veluws Vertoeven has a new, beautiful and comfortable dining area where you can dine or play games for hours. The bedroom has a spacious double and comfortable box spring of 160 by 200 cm, which was newly purchased in August 2023. You don't have to think about bringing bedding, the bed is already made and waiting for you on arrival so you can relax immediately. There is a choice of various high-quality pillows, so you can choose between firm and soft pillows for a wonderful night's sleep. In addition, the bedroom has a large wardrobe with mirror. The closet has both a hanging and a storage area, and clothes hangers are provided. The bathroom has a shower and a spacious bathtub in which you can relax. You can store your toiletries in the bathroom furniture, where a hair dryer is also available. You can leave your own towels at home, as they are ready for you in the bathroom cabinet. There is free, good and unlimited WiFi, and almost the entire bungalow has comfortable underfloor heating and dimmable mood lighting to create the right atmosphere. Even if you travel light, you have come to the right place at bungalow Veluws Vertoeven. There is a washing machine/dryer, drying rack, ironing board and iron available so you can wash your clothes during your stay. Detergent and fabric softener are already present upon arrival. There are no facilities for babies and/or children, and it is good to know that the garden is largely, but not completely, fenced. The bungalow is therefore less suitable for babies and/or children. Because we consider a high level of service and standard to be very important, we offer a number of additional facilities and things that you can use to get through the first few days. Guest access The detached, thatched bungalow of 66 m2 is located on a private plot of no less than 1000 m2 and is located in a quiet recreational park with a total of 31 bungalows. The garden has various plant borders and offers various seating areas. The spacious plot has its own free parking space and offers space for parking several cars. So you don't have to walk far with your luggage. The center of Putten is more than 3 km away. You can drive there in about 7 minutes by car, and by bike you will be there in about 11 minutes. In addition, there is a bus stop about 400 meters away, making bungalow "Veluws Vertoeven" also easy to reach by public transport. Putten has a train station less than 5.5 km away. In consultation, the shed can be used during the stay to store bicycles safely and dry. There is no electricity in this shed. The second bedroom and attic are not accessible to guests. The park itself does not offer recreational facilities, but these are offered in abundance in the nearby area. Near the bungalow "Veluws Vertoeven" there are various (authentic) highlights. On the Schovenhorst Estate, there is the "Bostoren", where after a steep climb you have a beautiful view over the wide area. Also in the woods of Putten, you can find the "Zwaartepunt van Nederland" (Center of Gravity of the Netherlands). If you prefer a relaxing wellness vacation, then you have also come to the right place at "Veluws Vertoeven". On the outskirts of Putten, you will find the subtropical swimming pool “Bosbad Putten” and on the other side of the village is “Sauna Drôme”. There is also no shortage of restaurants in Putten. A unique, local eatery with a casual atmosphere can be found almost around the corner: “Snackcounter Het Smulhuisje”. For a culinary experience, for example, you can dine at "Landgoed Salentein".
