Romantic and luxurious cottage in private parkland

Bodney Park Cottage is an incredibly romantic and special getaway. Set on a private estate in rural Norfolk, the cottage has been recently restored to the highest standards, with underfloor heating and top quality amenities throughout. With wonderful natural light and stunning views, guests are free to explore the grounds, woods and river walks. The cedar wood burning hot tub also offers guests the chance to enjoy incredible stargazing at night before cuddling up by the cosy fire. The space The property is accessed via a drive through private farmland and offers a large gravel parking area outside the cottage. The property is then accessed through the front door which brings you into a large, well-equipped kitchen/ dining room with light flooding in through a lantern roof and views through large window and french doors out into the garden and parkland beyond. There are two bedrooms: one large bedroom with a super king bed and views out over the parkland and one small double room with a double bed. There is a cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove and TV, and with a study area with desk to one side. The bathroom has a bath with shower overhead. The garden is fully encosed (but please note that there are livestock in the fields beyond), and has a terrace with outdoor dining table and chairs and a wood-fired cedar hot tub. Guest access Guests have access to the entire Cottage and are free to enjoy walks throughout the surrounding parkland (with dogs kept on a lead), and in the woodland by the chalk stream river which runs through the land. Other things to note Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the property. We ask that there are a maximum of 2 canine friends, and that they are kept off the furniture. Please note that there are livestock in the surrounding fields, so please ensure that dogs are kept on leads outside of the Cottage garden. *New* Tennis court available from 1 May 2025
