This stylish, spacious place to stay is perfect for those who wish to explore. Local walks can be found on your door step in the small village of Tonna, such as the spectacular Aberdulais water falls. Cycle paths 20m's away! Or climb the renowned 'Pen-Y-Fan' (Brecon Beacons) just a 30 minute drive away. A stone throw away from the local historic town of Neath, where you can explore the area or catch the train to the City of Cardiff in just 35 minutes. Nearest beach is a mere 8 miles away :-) The space Large, modern family home, comprising of 4 levels of living. A 20 minute walk into the centre of Neath (follow the road straight into town or walk the scenic route along the canal). Swansea centre can be reached on the train in 12 minutes from Neath. Gnoll estate country park can be reached in 5 minutes, voted the best picnic spot in Wales in 2010 with diverse wildlife and plenty for those who wish to explore. Within close proximity 6 of the top 10 waterfalls in Wales can be found e.g Melincourt, Aberdulais, Pontneddfechan, Sgwd yr Eira, Caerfanell falls, Sgwd Einion Gam. Dan Y Ogof caves can be found a mere 35 minutes away, this is great for the children and adults. Aberdulaise golf range is a 20 minute walk away serving food and drinks as you practice. The house is a great base to reach many golf courses for those golf lovers! There is also a putting green and fixed golf net in the garden for those we do not wish to go far. 20 metres away, when you leave the house to the left you can find your first cycle path and trail (number 47 - National Cycle Network - see photo) 20 minutes away is Afan Forest Park which has grown into one of Britain's iconic mountain bike destinations, offering trails for beginners to expert riders. Many walking trails can also be found (Visit Natural Resources Wales, Afan Forest Park, for further information). Your nearest beach is Aberavon just 8 miles away (it has a great surf school for those wishing to learn or advance, in the summer months). For those who wish to travel a little further the Gower peninsula is a must!
