Corte Kalìnora (from the Griko "Kalì n'òra" literally "Court of the good hour") is a historic residence dating back to the late eighteenth century, restored to its original architecture after a careful and patient renovation, just completed, which has restored the splendor of the past and an essential and contemporary style that characterizes it today. The heart of the house is the typical "Salento courtyard", with two ancient stone stairs that lead to the guest rooms and an intimate outdoor terrace. The room is characterized by the presence of the "cantune", a large fireplace flanked by the traditional stone kitchen, where our grandparents used to warm up or prepare food using the warmth of the burning tizzones. The mini fridges are zero-noise emission and the air conditioners, extremely quiet, include a device that ionizes the air, purifying it of impurities or allergens, and "sleep" programs for an ideal climate during sleep.
