Kawazu Sakura, Kawazu Nanataki, and the Old Castle Tunnel are famous, but it is a 15-minute train ride to Shimoda, a 20-minute drive to Shirahama Beach, and easy to get to Nishiizu and Nakaizu. About the location It is a 10-15 minute walk from Kawazu Station, 2-3 minutes to the Kawazu River, and 4-5 minutes to the sea. There are a few shops on the way from the station to the inn. The hot spring facility is about 3 km from the inn. About the accommodation Our family also lives there. Sometimes you may hear children's voices. The building is an old building built in 1967, the same year as mine. There are 3 bedrooms, and this is one of them. Shared facilities include 2 washrooms, 1 shower room, 1 toilet, etc. The accommodation is a shared space, so please observe the rules. Cleaning is done once every 2 days, and bedding and bath towels are washed once every 4 days. There is one parking space nearby ※ The 2026 Kawazu Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from February 7 to March 8. The space This is a simple and basic 5.5 tatami Japanese-style room. The sliding door is the entrance and it doesn't lock. It might feel a little tight for two people. There are sliding doors on two sides, a wall on one side, and a window on one side. It has a half-tatami sliding door, a mirror, and an air conditioner. Other things to note Negative points There is no key. There are no toothbrushes. We don't offer meals. The sound insulation is low, so you can hear footsteps, snoring, the sound of water in the toilet, etc. There is no heating system outside the room. The shower room, toilet, and passage are cold in winter. Kawazu is rural, so from May to October there may be large spiders and other insects. WiFi may not connect depending on your device. The shower room is not very clean. The seasonings in the kitchen cannot be used. During the cherry blossom festival, Kawazu accommodation prices go up significantly overall.
