Welcome to Kalinda Studio on the Hawkesbury River. Located high up on Bar Point across from Milson's Passage, you arrive by boat to this unique nature getaway on the river. About 1 hour north of Sydney, the studio IS ONLY ACCESSIBLE BY BOAT - a 20 minute trip from Brooklyn or only 10 minutes in a water taxi from the public wharf at Deerubbin Reserve. When you arrive, step onto the jetty and stairs for fabulous views of the river. Two kayaks available for river or fishing adventures. The space Roomy, architect-designed studio in the trees, comprising a large queen bedroom, combined kitchen/lounge, balcony and fireplace. Fitted with screens, ceiling fans and air-conditioning. Bar Point is partially off the grid. We use rainwater tanks and a modern septic system. The bathroom is adjacent to the studio, accessed via a short breezeway. The property has mains electricity but no wifi. Mobile reception is good and can run TV streaming. The hosts' house is also situated on the property.
