The space Accommodation You go through one of two rear doors, everything is bright, friendly and modern. The two bedrooms each have 160 x 200 cm beds, the bathroom, extra toilet and a kitchen in the living room. Huge panoramic windows lead to the large bow terrace and allow a view of the wide lake. Here you are on the water: front row, nothing disturbs, wide view. A few swimmers are doing their laps. White sails on the horizon and a mother duck is looking for food for the offspring. In the distance, anglers try their luck in the clear water. In summer you can explore the lake on kayaks or SUPS. Everything is done leisurely. No rush. Here you will find only peace, relaxation and recreation but also experience and adventure. Amenities The only gold-colored houseboat is also the youngest boat on this complex. Xanten on the Lower Rhine Xanten is a medium-sized town in the district of Wesel with a good 20,000 inhabitants and is located on the lower Lower Rhine in the northwest of North Rhine-Westphalia. The Roman, cathedral and Siegfried city looks back on a history of over 2000 years. Its beginnings lie in the establishment of the legion camp Vetera and the Colonia Ulpia Traina in the Roman Empire and continue with the foundation of the Abbey of St. Viktor in the 8th century. After the opening of the Archaeological Park and the leisure center, Xanten became the first state-recognized resort in the Düsseldorf district in 1988 and a climatic health resort from 2014. Xanten North Sea The North Sea, just like the South Sea, belongs to the Xanten Leisure Center (FZX) and experiences extremely gentle tourism. Only environmentally friendly drives are allowed on the water: muscles, wind and small electric boats. Only the romantic passenger ship "Seestern" and the harbor master are allowed to be properly motorized over the two lakes. On the west bank of the former excavation hole, in the Xanten district of Vynen, this houseboat facility floats with this houseboat. Two small ports with restaurants and boat rentals are very close. Fantastic sandy beaches, an exciting climbing park and even a water ski facility are part of the FZX. A bakery and various restaurants are also within walking distance. Everything else can be reached very easily by bike or car. For your own car, there is a reserved parking space near the jetty. Other things to note The city of Xanten currently charges a tourist tax of €2.60 for adults and €1.30 for children between 7 and 16 years of age. Tourist tax will be charged upon arrival.
