Roebuck's Rose is in the heart of the Chimney Meadows Nature Reserve and walking distance of the river Thames. Named after the Roe Deer who roam all over the Nature Reserve and love eating the roses it is ideal for families. Interior designed, the house offers signature Quince level of comfort and style with squishy sofas and super comfy beds in 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and there's even a four poster to enjoy. The space Beautifully landscaped, the courtyard garden is sun-drenched and flower filled with roses climbing the Cotswold stone walls and beyond you have acres of private land to explore; take picnics; climb trees, making for a seriously special escape. Bathed in sunshine it is ideal for a spot of alfresco dining with a heavenly south facing outside bath to enjoy. There is both dining for 12 and soft seating in the courtyard garden so you can relax and enjoy your break. A special feature is the stunning outside bath house, with copper/tin bath, hot and cold water and a heater so whatever the weather you can bathe under the stars! Inside, the south-facing barn is brilliantly light and airy with a palette of greens and oranges, allowing the modern artwork and quirky pieces to really pop out. Vaulted ceilings and huge windows flood the singe storey barn with sunlight, and there is even a four-poster. All the rooms have the Quince level of comfort with signature comfy beds. The kitchen is a great space, well equipped and with wonderful views of the water meadows so drop onto a stool at the kitchen island and relax. Entertaining is easy with a separate dining room for 12 and a cosy living room. There is 5 parking spaces in the shared carpark and an electric car charger. The wifi is super-fast with speeds of 200mbs which makes it ideal for home working. John, our gardener has developed some lovely walks all around the 13 acre grounds, with picnic benches, places to climb trees and even a bench to sit and enjoy the sunset. Wonderful walks and cycle routes are right on your doorstep and the Thames Path is within a few minutes walk through the Nature Reserve. You can hire canoes and paddleboards locally or why not bring your own? You can access the Thames in several spots locally (ask us for more details). The wider Cotswolds are right on your doorstep, with Bampton, used by Downton Abbey as their ‘village’ just 3 miles away. If you want to bring your four legged friend with you, let us know and we will send you the request for the extra funds. We hope you understand that dogs are not allowed in bedrooms, nor on the furniture and as the house is a strange place for your dog we ask that you do not leave them unattended in the house at any time. There is a dog bowl in the Utility as well as some poo bags as we want all to enjoy our beautiful grounds hygienically and safely.
