Situated just off Byres Road, in the heart of the West End, this apartment is your perfect base to explore all that Glasgow has to offer! The space This beautiful converted Victorian townhouse is located just a stone's throw from trendy Byres Road – the heart of Glasgow’s West End - where you are spoilt for choice on places to eat out, have drinks or coffee and explore the variety of shops and independent retailers. Glasgow University, Botanic Gardens, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery are all within walking distance and the city centre is only 10 minutes away by subway or bus. The apartment is on a leafy crescent that overlooks Kelvinside Hillhead Parish Church (built in 1876 and modelled on the Sainte-Chapelle Church in Paris). Historically the apartment building was the townhouse Manse for the church. The apartment has been renovated to a high standard while remaining faithful to many of the period features. There is a large living, dinning and kitchen area where you can chill out and watch TV or simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. Both bedrooms are bright, airy, quiet rooms with fresh bedding. The master bedroom is a large room with a double bed. The second bedroom is a smaller room and has a compact double bed. The bathroom has a powerful shower and constant hot water. The apartment has gas central heating throughout. There is good wifi connection in all rooms. The parking outside the flat is metered. This can be paid for using meters or the RingGo App. Restrictions will apply between 8am and 6pm (with a max 3 hour stay), Monday to Saturday (there is free parking on Sunday). For guests wishing to bring a car for the duration of their stay there is free on-street parking is available a short 5 minute walk from the apartment (directions and map are available on request).
