Welcome to The Light House Kabous is a Unique Artist Cottage set in a lush garden with access to a Patio & Outdoor Kitchenette. Located in Westdene, in close proximity to the world-famous neighbourhood Melville, lined with trendy restaurants, bars, and cafes. We are a 25min drive to O.R. Tambo, Rosebank, Sandton and Maboneng. A tranquil and creative hideaway, surrounded by greenery and birdsong, an ideal base to explore the many offerings within and around Johannesburg, the City of Gold. The space Kabous is set in our lush garden with her own private entrance. She has been stylishly decorated with artwork from my own personal collection. There is a Mini Fridge, a Kettle, Toaster, and Microwave within the unit, as well as an outdoor Kitchenette with a gas burner. The Cottage leads out to a shared terrace and garden with a Patio and Braai (bbq) area. Bella offers a comfortable Double bed with an ensuite Shower, Toilet & Basin, as well as a Desk. We have backup water on site as well as gas geysers which means you will always be able to have a hot shower. You are welcome to enjoy a South African Braai (bbq) at our Garden Boma. Guest access We are only a 5min taxi or Tuk Tuk ride away from the world-famous neighborhood Melville and 7th Street, which has been named in the list of Top 50 Coolest Neighbourhoods in the World by Time Out. UJ, The University of Johannesburg, and Wits are both only a 10min drive. Please note that there is 1 x parking space reserved for you within the property with free on-street parking available for your guests. Our property has 24-hour CCTV on-site and a Street Security Guard. We provide the ideal location for you to explore the numerous world-famous sights within and around Johannesburg or a comfortable base to work from home and do business in Johannesburg.
