Masseria Ferarelli Trepizzi - Rural Experience is a new reality of rural hospitality in Puglia, in the Lower Salento. We are completely immersed in the quiet of the Salento countryside among the dry stone walls, the essences of the Mediterranean scrub, the olive trees, the carob trees and the fruit trees. The space The “Uttata” room takes its name from an ancient type of fig present in the Masseria. It is furnished with pieces of ethnic Mediterranean and local craftsmanship. Comfortable and relaxing rest thanks to the traditional queen size Salento bed, wrapped in textiles from one of the most renowned artisan weaving mills in the area. The room is equipped with a “Salento sideboard” with kettle, coffee, tea and herbal teas included in the price. In the sideboard there is a wine cellar with important local labels, a food corner with local specialties and local products in the extra minibar. It has a private and equipped patio overlooking the garden. Guest access The large patio of the common area, in the kitchen area equipped with a fantastic artisan stone oven, the equipped barbecue and the large table are instead the place of conviviality, of the exchange of ideas and of the birth for those who want it of new friendships. Area and equipment available on request and with a supplement to be requested from the host on site Another enchanting place is the viale del pozzo, the place where once again you can relax in the shade of the beautiful grape pergola, perhaps enjoying a good aperitif. Other things to note The Masseria has been our property for several generations and is located in the countryside but a short distance from both the sea of ​​Castro Marina and the authentic villages of Salento such as Diso, Castro, Marittima, Spongano, Ortelle, Andrano and Castiglione d'Otranto. Our Masseria is managed in a family but professional way as both Cristina and her husband Filippo have been working in tourism and hospitality for about 30 years. Inside our Masseria you can relax in the shade of centuries-old olive, almond, pear and fig trees. Regarding fig trees we have a collection of over 20 varieties. We have also created an Arabic garden with over 30 varieties of citrus fruits and a nature trail with carob trees, strawberry trees, pines and other essences of the Mediterranean scrub.
