Idyllic family farmhouse in breathtaking moorland setting. Perfectly situated for inland adventures or visits to beaches (approx 35 mins away). You can walk straight out onto the moor and the walks and views all around are fantastic. The space This is a charming family farmhouse set in its own 4 acres. Wild ponies and cattle come right up to our gate and there are many foals, lambs and calves in summer. Because there are no immediate neighbours the stars are fantastic and Bodmin Moor has been declared an outstanding area for night sky. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs: 3 x double with one en suite, 1 x two single beds (truckle bed)). 2 x shower rooms + toilet, 1 x bathroom room + toilet. There are plenty of garden spaces to sit out in and enjoy with BBQ and outdoor seating areas. There is a small pond in one garden area. There is a spacious greenhouse with two chairs - ideal for breakfast, or to sit and read books. Guest access Set in its own 4 acres the house is surrounded by fields, and then the moor. The local farmer often keeps a few sheep, and sometimes a horse who loves carrots and apples, in two of the fields nearest the house. There is a large kitchen garden with BBQ accessed by French doors on both the East and South side of the kitchen, all with stunning views, a raised eating area and a small pond. There is a “play” field at the front with kids football posts.
