Built in 2021 and very well located. It is just behind the Church of São Sebastião, in the main square of Vila do Abraão, Ilha Grande. Easy and quick access. You don't have to go uphill. Only 5 minutes between the dock and the tourist dock for the residence. It has practically everything close by: tourism agency, restaurants, bakery, markets, ice cream shop, health center and, of course, beaches. With good walks, you'll reach the waterfalls and more distant beaches. The space The property is composed of 2 floors. On the 1st floor, there is a 2-bedroom house and a store facing the street. Through an independent entrance, next to the store, there is a staircase composed of 17 steps that gives access to the 2nd floor and the 6 suites built for rent. Each suite has its own independent entrance. The room has a double bed, smart TV, 10,000 BTU air conditioning, refrigerator, granite countertop with sandwich maker, plates, glasses and cutlery for up to 6 people. The location is not a guesthouse, and for this reason, there is no breakfast or services on site. It is a rental of property. It's not a bed and breakfast. As a courtesy, I provide bed linens and bath towels for all guests. To exchange this material during the stay, a prior consultation is required and if there is the possibility of exchange (availability of material), an extra cost must be paid on site. Guests are responsible for all personal items. E.g. soap, shampoo, toothpaste, etc. There is also no housekeeping and cleaning of the room during the stay. Room cleaning and tidying is done when guests check in/out. To keep the room clean, especially from sand, I provide a broom and a dustpan. If the guest wants a person to do the housekeeping and cleaning during the stay, they must inform in advance and a housekeeping/cleaning fee will be charged. The room has equipment for small and quick meals. A full kitchen with a refrigerator, stove and microwave, plus a sandwich maker, dishes, glasses and cutlery available. All guests will receive a copy of the corresponding room entrance key and a copy of the entrance key to the gate that gives access to the stairs. Important note: the photos of the front of the house, where it shows the Milk Shake Mix ice cream shop, are merely intended to demonstrate the location of the property. The balconies shown in these photos refer to suites 1 and 2. This specific room is suite 6, set up exactly as shown in the interior photos of the accommodation. Guest access The arrival to Ilha Grande can be made by the barge of the company Barcas S/A with departure from Mangaratiba or Angra dos Reis. There is still another option of arrival to Ilha Grande through flex boat that leave from Conceição de Jacareí or Angra dos Reis. In Vila do Abraão there are only two ways to get around the neighborhood: walking or by bicycle that can be rented in local establishments. Access to the beaches can be by walk or by taxi boat that leave from Vila do Abraão to beaches such as Abraãozinho, Praia do Pouso that gives access to Lopes Mendes, Praia da Feiticeira, etc. Other things to note The television is a smart TV. To use Netflix, Amazon Video, Globo Play and other apps, the guest must connect their own account and can use the Wi-Fi network installed in the room. To achieve this, a Starlink data package was contracted, offering excellent download and upload rates, as well as a very low latency rate, which allows, in most cases, the use of the equipment quickly and without crashes, including for watching TV via streaming and working. Wi-Fi access will be available to all guests. Both the open TV signal and the cell phone signal are subject, respectively, to the satellite signal and often depend on the weather condition and thus may suffer interference, oscillations or even absence at times. The electricity supply is very stable, especially after the improvements made in recent years. Even so, it can suffer interruptions like anywhere in the world. We don't have our own generator. If there is no date for that specific room, I may have other rooms available. Always get in touch. In the event of a total change of the travel date, for any reason, there will be a charge of 50% of the total value of the stay. If I don't do this and the guest changes the date, I'll have two dates booked and I'll only get paid for one. So, in order for me not to lose out completely, I share this charge with the guest.
