Solar do Cosme is a charming and cozy house, built at the end of the 19th century, surrounded by vegetation and birds, at the foot of Corcovado. It is located in the quiet and safe neighborhood of Cosme Velho, in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The house has approximately 400 m². We have 3 large rooms surrounded by balconies, 7 comfortable bedrooms, as well as a nice garden with swimming pool. The house accommodates up to 20 guests. Please check prices. It is these memories that make Solar a differentiated space and a great place for your next trip to Rio de Janeiro. Our rooms: Each room has a different decoration, in a rustic style. The rooms have air conditioning and wifi. We provide bed linen and towel. We do not make exchanges during the stay. - Bedroom 1 (ground floor): Garden view and private entrance. Four reversible single beds in two double beds or one double and two single beds - Bedroom 2 (ground floor): Garden view. A double bed. - Bedroom 3 (ground floor): Garden view. Three reversible single beds in a double bed and one single bed - Bedroom 4 (ground floor): Garden view, private entrance and en suite bathroom. Two reversible single beds in a double bed. - Bedroom 5 (second floor): Garden view. Four reversible single beds in a double bed and two single beds - Bedroom 6 (second floor): Garden view. A single bed and a double bed on the mezzanine accessible by stairs. - Extra room (single floor): Small room with 1 single bed. This room does not have air conditioning. Our bathrooms: We have 2 multipurpose bathrooms, one on each floor. They were designed to be used concomitantly by 4 people. Each of them has a large countertop with 2 sinks and in separate environments, the shower and the toilet. There is also a bathroom in the suite located on the ground floor. Our kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, electric coffee maker, sandwich maker and other basic utensils Rooms & Balconies We have 3 rooms, 1 dining room (on the second floor) and 2 living room (one on the ground floor and the other on the second floor). The main room is a pleasant space, where there is a Smart TV, with Netflix. Some books and games are also available. The balconies are our darling! A corner where you can read, talk, enjoy a good caipirinha or have a tea. Pool & Gardens: You can also experience moments of great tranquility in our garden or renew your energies relaxing in the pool. Guest access The space of the house and the pool are for the exclusive use of guests. If you wish to receive visitors during your stay, there is an extra cost. Please let us know. Cars must be parked along the street, which has a 24-hour security service. Other things to note The house is located in an environmental protection area, so there is a strong restriction on sound volume after 10 pm. The house has a couple of housekeepers who live in an annex and maintain the gardens and the pool. The house can accommodate up to 21 people. The payment made via Airbnb is intended for up to 16 people. We prepared the rooms according to the number of guests. If you are interested in hosting more than 16 people, I ask you to inform us and make the respective payment in advance If you wish to bring your pet, we ask you to inform us before booking, so that we can together check the suitability of the animal to our space. If you wish to receive guests or employees during your stay, we ask you to inform us to adjust a dayuse rate. If you need a differentiated check-in or check-out time, we ask you to request us in advance to evaluate the possibility and possible extra cost. In case of use of the house for advertising or similar purposes, we must be consulted so that together we can define procedures and values. We ask for special attention to the fact that the house has stairs. Elderly people and children need to be careful when getting around. We request the prior sending of the passport or identity card (ID or CNH) to our mobile phone. ABOUT EVENTS: Our house is intended exclusively for guests who are included in the reservation. If you wish to promote any kind of event, please contact us in advance. For this, there is a specific tariff. Let us know the time of the event and the number of visitors so that we can adjust with you the amount to be paid. It is always essential to reserve for 3 days.
