There is an 18cm step onto the decking from the path and a 13cm step to the front door of the wigwam. The pathway to the wigwams is well lit by lights on a timer. Halls, Stairs, Landings, Passageways The wigwams are all on one, open living area with no steps inside. They are well lit with dimmer switches which can be adjusted to suit the level of brightness required. There is laminate flooring throughout. Sitting Room/Lounge There is natural daylight in the wigwam with several lights with dimmer switches. The sofa has several cushions to alter support level to suit. Non feather cushions and bedding used. There is laminate flooring throughout. There is a flat screen digital television with remote control, subtitles, and a DVD player. Dining Room There is moveable dining room table with four chairs, there is free space around the table. There is natural daylight with several lights with dimmer switches. There is laminate flooring throughout. Kitchen The kitchen is situated on the same level with step free, level access. The hob is 102cm/40.15ins above the floor. Worktop and sink are 102cm/40.15ins above the floor. Mini fridge/freezer available, highest shelf in fridge 39cm/ 15.35ins. Dining Table provided – 77cm/ 30.31ins from floor to lowest and 4 upright chairs with no arms. Cushions can be used from the sofa. Glasses and crockery are situated on lower cupboards for easy access Large cutlery and utensils and cordless kettle rotating 360 degrees. The kitchen is evenly lit and brightness can be adjusted via a dimmer switch. Bedrooms and Sleeping Areas The double bed situated at back of wigwam with step free access. A double sofa bed is available for use by a personal assistant/carer or friend/family member There is a window at the back of the bed providing natural lighting and several lights in dimmer switches Ther is laminate flooring surrounding the bed. Non feather bedding available, digital television with remote control, built in DVD and subtitles can be viewed from the double bed. Bathrooms, Shower-rooms and Toilets There is an en-suite bathroom in every wigwam. There is a 10cm step into shower. The toilet is 40cm high/ 15.74ins. The wash basin is 87cm/ 34.25ins high. There are screw taps on the washbasin. The bathroom is well lit with an overhead light. There is laminate flooring in the bathroom and a bath mat provided. Garden The wigwams are situated in a beautiful, mature orchard which is well maintained and accessible. The canal runs alongside and has been fenced off. Each wigwam has its own picnic bench and firepit for hire. There are several wooden garden benches situated in the orchard for guests to use and enjoy the surrounding views. Additional Information Trained assistance dogs are welcome. All areas in the wigwam have good colour contrast between the floor, doors and walls. Generally, doors and doorframes are wood and walls are light in colour. The mobile phone reception can be poor.
