Bringing your kiddos? No problem! We have a little upstairs reading nook off the kids bedroom, lots of children's books and games, including magnatiles. Kids are also always enchanted by the lake and extensive outdoor space. The first floor requires to stairs and has an easily accessible bathroom, with shower, bedroom, kitchen and TV. Adult getaway weekend to recharge? We have a super private lakefront yard with a patio and grill, beautiful pergola, garden, and outdoor couch and seating, covered dining & a lakeside fire pit. You'll love hanging in the hammock or sweating in the sauna. Nature lovers can fish, boat and hang out on the dock - with life jackets of course. There is literally something for everyone! Pack lightly because we are abundantly stocked! Blankets, body wash and hair products, NETFLIX, tons of board games, a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, blender and waffle iron, and portable music player, the list goes on! This spot is only 25 minutes from the Burlington, Vermont (BTV) airport! Ready to book yet? We got you and cannot wait to host you! We are now welcoming up to 2 well behaved dogs per visit! Please inquire for dog fees by sending the number of dogs, size and breed. We do require the dogs to be supervised at all times or crated if left alone. We also require that dogs be on a leash runner or an outdoor lead when outside, and that the all dog waste is cleaned up immediately and deposited into the outside trash can. All of these policies are considered accepted once you reserve this home. Thank you! Guest access The entire house & yard is private and for your use during your stay. Get ready to be amazed and delighted by this perfect lakeside oasis. A perfect retreat from the 'real world'. Although this home is tucked in a quiet neighborhood, you'll love the privacy found around the backside of the house, in your lakeside oasis! You'll love the incredible views of water and sunrise and sunsets! The lake is great for canoeing and kayaking (both provided) as motorized boats are not allowed, and the lake is only accessible to people who live on the lake. Launch off of our private dock in one of our kayaks, canoes, or paddle board right from the property. The lake doesn't have a sandy bottom and you can wade in, please note that it is it is a bit muddy and is not the most ideal for swimming. There is a town beach within a 6 minute drive. ❄️❄️ If you are visiting in the winter please be aware that winter weather can be tricky to drive in and can be unpredictable. Please be prepared for winter traveling with all wheel drive and experience driving in the snow. The driveway and dirt road to the house is maintained by a local plow company but there are occasions when the snow may not be completed removed and on the dirt road, it is common in the winter for the snow to be packed on the road. There is a shovel at the property and if you end up needing a tow, my fav local company is Central Service Towing & Recovery in Williston in case you need it. ❄️❄️
