Boscoscuro - East Camera
Description
A room on the first floor of the building with a romantic canopy bed takes the mind to other places and other times. Then we open the windows and let the light, scents, and soft sounds of the forest enter. The space BOSCOSCURO is an old farmhouse from the 1800s that has recently been renovated. Located in the center of a beautiful forest in the Etna Park, on a natural terrace over 1,000 meters high from which you can enjoy a splendid view, it is only 1 kilometer from the town of Ragalna. A place between history and nature with an ancient and profound soul where we have created rooms for hospitality, a restaurant and many spaces for relaxation. Spending a night in one of the rooms of BOSCOSCURO means living in a work of art that Sicilian artists and artisans have created to sleep in the silence of the forest in different worlds and with different emotions. Our restaurant offers a cuisine made only with local and natural products, served on the panoramic terrace in summer and inside in the other seasons but always in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The property is surrounded by a large natural park with avenues embellished with thousands of roses, pergolas, terraces and spaces equipped to experience peaceful hours in contact with nature. Easily walkable paths follow the traces of old mule tracks to nearby destinations such as the Lava Caves, Monte Arso (a small volcano from 500 BC) and the "Rock Garden" born from ancient movements of the lava crust. BOSCOSCURO is not only a convenient starting point for visiting the main destinations of eastern Sicily (Etna, Catania, Taormina, the Alcantara river valley, Syracuse) but above all it is a place where everyone can feel at home. The right place to enjoy a sunset while drinking a good glass of wine or enjoying a Sicilian dish or simply strolling through the paths of its centuries-old forest.
