This charming little cottage has been recently renovated for added comfort. Suitable for a small family (pay attention to the size of the bunk beds) or couple looking for peace and quiet. Its location allows access to: - directly on skis at the foot of the Tuffes massif area, - to all hikes on GR 5, GR 9 and GR 509 see the Visorando app for access to lakes (Lamoura, Les Rousses, etc.) and/or passing through the peaks and remarkable points in France and Switzerland. The space Spread over 2 levels On the ground floor: - Entrance hall for storing shoes, skis, luggage, etc. - Bedroom with a 160 x 200 double bed - Laundry room with toilet, sink and washing machine. - Staircase to access the floor (narrow and steep) Upstairs: - Dining room with wall-mounted TV, 1 sofa and 2 armchairs - Bedroom with 90 x 190 cm and 70 x 190 cm bunk beds (note: narrow bed, uncomfortable for a tall person) - Furnished kitchen - Shower room with toilet and sink - Large outdoor terrace Note that the children's room is located upstairs and the parents' room is on the ground floor. Access between the two levels is via a steep staircase which is not recommended for very young children. Important: Sheets, duvets, pillowcases, bathroom towels and dish towels are not provided. Mattress and cushion protectors, fleece blankets, pillows (60 x 60) provided. As a hygiene measure, new disposable mattress covers are placed over the mattress and cushion protectors. Pedestrian access from parking below. Outdoor shoes not allowed upstairs or bedroom on the ground floor. Provide indoor slippers. Guest access The road allowing access to the parking lot of all the chalets requires adequate equipment in case of snowfall (snow tires or chains). The chalet (number 6) is within walking distance of the parking lot. It is located about thirty meters above the south end of the parking lot. Access to the chalet may be difficult depending on snow conditions. Snow shovels are available in the airlock on the ground floor of the chalet. Other things to note Note that the cottage has been recently renovated. Despite this, some precautions should be taken. In winter, never fully lower the blinds because, in case of heavy snowfall, they could get stuck in the snow, and you would not be able to open them. The chalet is equipped with underfloor heating. The wood stove is only an element of convenience or comfort. For a fire, you must use raw wood logs (no compressed wood) less than 30 cm long. You can find them in supermarkets or hardware stores. Difficult to find, it's best to get some before you check in. The ashes must be emptied on your departure and the stove window cleaned. The hot water tank (laundry room) allows up to 3 consecutive showers. Manual forcing is possible if all the hot water has been used. Unrealized full cleaning will be charged as an additional fee. If you do not want to do the cleaning, you can take the "Cleaning" option at €25 offered by the Trappeur concierge.
