Your apartment is located on the top floor with lots of sun. A total of 850 square feet, the apartment is incredibly airy. There is a fully equipped kitchen, large sitting room, and a bedroom that opens into a private balcony. there is also an ensuite bathroom, and you can also access shared garden and terrace. We are located in the Ratopul area in Kathmandu, which is a laid-back residential neighborhood near the airport. There are several mom-and-pop groceries, local teashops, and ATMS within immediate 2-5 mins walk. The larger area has several coffee shops, restaurants, mini-marts, boutique shops, general stores within 5-15 mins walk. Battisputali - which is fast emerging as a popular hangout spot for local youth - has gyms, malls, and banks. A casual 25-30 min walk (or a 10-15 min drive depending on traffic) takes you to popular attractions and cultural sites such as Pasupatinath, Bouddha stupa, and Thamel. You can easily hop on a city bus (5 min walk to the stop) that will take you to Bhaktapur, Swayambhu, or Patan. There are several public transport options available immediately in our neighborhood. Cabs are also plenty, and popular ride sharing apps - Pathao, Tootle, InDriver - offer hasslefree rides across the city. Bike rides through these apps are increasily popular, but you need a local SIM card to create an account! For inter-city transport, you can hop on "Ringroad" service that can take you to Patan and Bhaktapur. Alternately, you can head to the bus parks and transfer to buses to get to anywhere in Nepal. The airport is a 2.5 km ride away (5-7mins), so very easy to access. If you need a private transport with a driver, we can arrange that for 25/50 USD (half day/full day). A motorbike/scooter can also be rented anywhere between 8-25 USD/day depending on the model.
