Large travel cot, high chair & stair gates The space We're based in the heart of the market town of Bala, located in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Renovated to a high standard in 2021, the property is equipped with underfloor heating in the bathroom and living areas, whilst both bedrooms are carpeted making for a cosy stay. The decor is modern but contemporary and features art from North Wales. This is a perfect location for those wanting to enjoy the beautiful scenery, waterfalls, mountains, lakes and other attractions of Snowdonia. For those who love water it is possible to canoe, paddleboard, sail, windsurf fish and swim in Bala Lake. There is a great family swimming pool near the lake. The whitewater centre, rafting and canoeing is 3 miles away. Surf Snowdonia is just over 30 minutes drive For those wanting to walk, we have the lot, nice walks from the doorstep whilst others within an hour include the Ogwen Valley and Snowdon. For biking there are family trails also several dedicated mountain biking trails in the area. Within 30 minutes we have 2 different Zip Worlds - one at Llechwedd, Blaenau Ffestiniog which features a seated zip wire and adventures in caverns, the other in Betws Y Coed, which is based in a forest and features high ropes, a coaster and much more. We have a comprehensive welcome brochure for all our guests and our welcome pack includes some refreshing and tasty local produce. Back to the property. On the ground floor you will walk into an open plan - Living / dining area leading to large well equipped, high quality kitchen. An advanced underfloor heating system allows the temperature to be set to your preference. As the property is equipped with superfast WiFi (@72mbps ), you'll have no problem staying connected with your devices, also watching your favourite shows on the smart television. The kitchen has everything you need make a quick lunch or even a full Sunday roast! On the first floor you'll find a cosy, carpetted master bedroom with comfortable double bed. There is a large 1 drawer wardrobe. A hairdryer is available so you can get ready to go out using the large wall mounted mirror. A large travel cot with luxury mattress is available on request - please supply your own linen for your little one. There are retractable stair gates at every stair level to ensure infants and toddlers will be safe. A short walk down the landing is the shower room which features a large walk in shower with thermostatic control, illuminated mirror equipped with demister and shaver socket. Up to the second floor there is a twin bedroom with divan beds and comfortable mattresses. A large drawer unit is available for storage, extra pillow can be found in the divan drawers. Next to the bedroom is a large and uniquely designed shower room with large shower cubicle, thermostatic shower with large fixed and smaller hand held heads. Outside the rear of the property are some steps up to a slabbed area where a rotary clothes line is available. There is also a small garden table and chairs for you to sit and relax in the fresh Welsh air with a cup of tea or coffee. Guest access Access to the property is via a smart lockbox There is free on street parking directly outside the property also free private parking ( non secure ) in a chapel car park 50 metres away from the property. We have a permit which must be displayed if parking there and returned at the end of any stay Other things to note Please note, whilst the ground floor is open plan, there are a couple of small steps up from the living/dining area the kitchen. Since the floors had to be moved upwards during renovation in 2021 following a request from Building Control, the top floor bedroom and bathroom have lower ceilings towards the outside walls. Whilst this should not affect your stay, if you are a taller person you may need to mind your head if you approach these areas.
