Gardeners cottage is a charming and cosy bolthole in the grounds of the Old Sir Walter Tyrell House, set in the heart of the new forest. The house was for over 150 years a pub, then derelict for a decade and now stylishly restored to a private residence. Gardeners cottage is a 1 bed, self contained dwelling with a kitchen-dining-living room, king size bedroom, and luxurious bathroom. It is pet friendly, has access to a private, south facing, fenced off garden with terrace. The space You enter into the main space which is a vaulted, oak beamed room with woodburner and lots of natural light. There is a sofa, dining area and a well equipped galley kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and pod coffee machine. Off the kitchen is the hallway leading to the bedroom with a new, kingsize bed, bedside tables with lamps, loads of storage and views over the garden. At the end of the hall is a bathroom with powerful shower over bath, basin and lots of natural daylight The bathroom and bedroom are underfloor heated, the living room and kitchen are heated via the woodburner or electric radiator. Guest access Parking is on site, private, secure and its useful to have a car to get around. That said lots of guest arrive by taxi from the station and then walk or cycle Other things to note Theres a very old, low door between the kitchen and bedroom - mind your head
