The space The flat (Flat 3) is situated at a quiet residential square next to Churchill Square Shopping Centre, and is a 4 minutes' walk to the sea front. It features modern neutral decor and styling, high ceilings, a newly fitted integrated kitchen with all essential appliances, cooking tools and cutleries, new luxury bathroom suite, oak flooring, carpets, LED downlights, and a large private roof terrace with a view of the sea and i360. With two well proportioned double bedrooms, the flat can host up to 4 people. This space: - Location - 1 minute’s walk to Brighton’s main shopping centre Churchill Square Shopping Centre, easy access to Brighton's mainline station, main shopping districts, Brighton Centre, the laines and Brighton seafront with its variety of recreational pastimes, watersports, bars, restaurants, night clubs and seafront walks, all within a short walking distance. - Building – the original building dated back to 1903 when it housed a drapery store named Knight & Wakeford; around 1920 the business changed hands to Dawkins Ltd Drapers. Viewing from Western Road, the building’s façade still bears the original “KW” engraving, which sits right above one of the flat’s two bedrooms. The current building is the result of a full modern conversion in 2018. - Internal space - As a result of the conversion from a shop, this flat has high ceilings, making it very airy and bright. It is basically an extra window attached to the original window sill using magnetic strips. You can open this window by pulling its edge at the bottom, and use the venting arm to keep it ajar, should you wish to have some fresh air - see listing photos. Each of the two bedrooms is equipped with a standard double bed, with comfortable Reflex Foam mattress (135cm x 190cm) that help you get a nice sleep. Professional cleaned. Linens, towels, shampoo/handwash etc. will be provided. A limited number of visitor's parking permits available to purchase for £14 each while they last. Each permit is valid for 1 calendar day in zone Z of Brighton. Guest access Guests will have access to the whole flat incl. the balcony during the stay. Flexible self checkin and collection of keys from a key safe using the code that will be sent to you on the day of your arrival, normally before midday. At checkout please remember to put the keys back in the key safe, scramble the code and close the cover. Other things to note The flat is on the 2nd floor. Be careful when stepping in and out of the bathtub as the floor might get wet and slippery. Parking could be difficult in downtown Brighton, but there are a few large car parks nearby. It is free to park on the street during certain hours of the evening, typically 8pm - 9am, subject to available space of course.
