Snuggle in to your private garden walled off by nature or explore the main garden, farm or native bush. You will have all the comforts of home including a super king bed, tiled bathroom with walk-in shower, washer/dryer, ducted aircon, outdoor dining area and an outdoor bath for 2. Close to Auckland and Auckland Airport yet calm, quiet and peaceful. The space Architecturally designed one bedroom cottage on our farm in Karaka within a private garden space just for you to make yourselves at home. Adjacent to our home and yet private and peaceful. Perfect for couples friends or families wanting peace and quiet and a sampling of a rural lifestyle. The bedroom has a comfortable super king bed overlooking the orchard. The main living area has bespoke furniture and french doors that open up to give you a seamless garden experience. The outdoor bath is perfect for 2 and guest reviews note the private, romantic, star gazing is a highlight of their stay. The well equipped kitchenette, with full sized fridge/freezer, allows cooking on an induction hobb or microwave. Please note, no oven. Complimentary continental breakfast is included and awaits you for your first breakfast and always contains fresh homemade artisan sourdough bread. Nespresso machine and a French press with freshly ground locally roasted coffee is supplied. Free bottle of mineral water per guest is included. The Webber BBQ allows el fresco cooking on the patio under the covered verandah or we can arrange a delicious grazing platter on request with some notice. As a new, purpose built cottage the space allows you to feel safe and warm with the ducted cooling/heating system complimenting opening doors/windows. The interior design is fresh and bespoke with most of the decor being one off pieces. With 2 smart TVs you are encouraged to BYOL-Bring your own login. A Tiltaway queen bed with hotelier mattress is available for extra guests. Extra guest fee applies. Portable cot and/or high chair available on request for your little ones at no charge. You will share the driveway into the property with us and then settle in to your own parking space, garden and cottage. Close proximity to Auckland Airport makes this a convenient stop over for travellers before and after flights or as a base to explore Auckland and surroundings. With a 2 pm check in and 1100 check out, guests are encouraged to relax and de-stress through out a contactless check in/out. Our business model focusses on contactless and private. Other things to note Rose Cottage is located on a working farm in Karaka. There are farm animals, friendly dogs and electric fences, please leave all gates as you find them if you choose to explore beyond the main garden. We have 1 ha of covenanted native bush that is teeming with bird life and has a deep pond. Feel free to explore and please stick to the trails. Some guests have been planting a native tree to mark their visit, if this is something you would like to do please get in touch, we supply the tree. We ask that you exercise common sense when walking around the farm and note you are exploring at your own risk.
