We bought our house in 2016 and completely renovated it ourselves. The old and the modern coexist. The outdoor area consists of a large shed in which your cars/bicycles/motorcycles can be easily parked. 1 south-facing garden and a swimming pool complete this space. There is also a covered terrace ideal for breakfast since it is adjacent to the kitchen. The view is beautiful: corn fields as well as the famous Henri 4 pedestrian path and its beautiful view of our Pyrenees. A charcoal barbecue is at your disposal. On the north side, a 2nd garden with its games for children (swing, trampoline, hut) a small vegetable garden and its fruit trees. Inside there is a beautiful living space composed of a living room communicating with a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. 1 bedroom, 1 game room and a bathroom on the ground floor are available as well as 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Our house is located in a charming little village located in the Pyrenees Atlantiques. Ideally located, we are about fifteen minutes by car from Pau, capital of Béarn. Halfway between the Pyrenean ski resorts and the Atlantic Ocean (45 min and 1 h respectively). The Spanish border is not so far away either. Lourdes and Tarbes are about twenty minutes from the house. In the immediate vicinity of the house and for lovers of walks and hiking, you will find the GR 782 "Chemin Henry IV" which connects Lourdes to Pau. The village has a bakery, post office, bistro, nursing office. But also a horse farm, a sheepfold and many other farms. Note that the village next door has a pharmacy and a tobacco shop.
