Cotswolds House

Our family home is a spacious, characterful 7 bedroom Cotswolds house with a stunning open plan kitchen, a sitting room, snug, play room and large garden. Area: Beautiful countryside walks, gastro pubs, Westonbirt Arboretum and striking distance from Cirencester, Bath, Bristol and Malmesbury. We really only like to accept families to our home. NB: We do not accept any type of HEN/STAG party at our home. The space Our beautiful open plan kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need along with a comfy seating area and double doors into the garden and terrace. There is a play room for the kids through a "hidden" sliding door from the kitchen. We have a front sitting room with a grand piano which is very comfortable especially when the open fire is lit. We have a snug with two sofas and a large wide screen internet TV with Netflix, Amazon and BBCiPlayer etc. There are 2 wood burning stoves - one in the kitchen and one in the 'snug'. These warm the rooms up very well in the winter (please keep little children away from all open fires and stoves). The bedrooms have en-suites or access to a shared bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and there is plenty of wardrobe and storage space to hang clothing etc. The heating is on a timer that we adjust according to the weather - there will be details about it in the house so you can make yourselves comfortable for your stay. Bare in mind this is a very old house, so the back and top parts of the house can be chilly in winter; we have stand alone heaters, plenty of blankets and hot-water bottles to keep you cosy. We have wifi all over the house. We're still fixing odd things throughout the house, so I would ask that you bare with us..... some doors do not close fully or have wobbly handles and one of the taps in the blue bathroom is missing as it was dripping. Also not all rooms have all our pictures/paintings hung. We will get there eventually! Please let us know if there are things you come across during your stay that would be helpful for us to know or fix and we'll add it to the list of to do's :) Please contact me if you need anything.
