Nestled in the beautiful Andes 1 ½ hrs from Quito and 10 min from the leather district of Cotacachi. Relax in our charming Spanish Style Casita that includes a tiled kitchen and bathroom. Located in a spacious private setting surrounded by Eucalyptus trees, gravity feed fish ponds, duck pond, guinea pig cage and endless views of lush green farms. The farm includes a restaurant, kayak lake and soccer field. Vacation with indigenous Ecuadorians, learn our culture and enjoy our hospitality. Jatarishun is a community owned and operated recreation farm. Located outside of Cotacachi in a valley of patchwork traditionally farmed land surrounded by volcanic mountains. The farm has onsite restaurant meals prepared with the freshest ingredients open Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 6 pm. There are several small lakes and ponds for kayaking and fishing. Guests may catch fresh trout from the ponds to cook for $2 per trout and kayaks are available for $2 to rent. The farm also features a full size soccer field and playground. Taxis are available and very reasonably priced.
