Spacious Old Town apartment near Powder Tower

Enjoy local flavour from freshly renovated 1 bedroom apartment. This charming building is just a few steps from the Powder Tower, which now hosts various exhibitions and a free entrance museum. Numerous parks, restaurants, coffee shops and all the main tourist attractions are also just steps away. The space This cozy apartment includes a kitchen with basic cooking equipment (a pan, pot, cutlery, dishes and silverware), bathroom with a shower and a washing machine, one bedroom, living room and dining area. The unit comfortably accommodates guests with a new Queen size bed and a sofa bed (pull out coach). Additionally, Wi-Fi is included. SMART TV connected to the internet, you can use streaming platforms (Netflix, Go3, YouTube etc.), NO CABLE TV. Other things to note Apartment is located in the Old Town, facing the street. Expect some noise from the streets, especially during the tourism season. Later check-out's are not possible, but there are luggage storage options (contact us for more information). Heating season in Riga begins when average temperature drops below 8 degrees celsius (usually first week of October, sometimes sooner or later) and ends sometime in April. We have one portable electric heater to heat the place at any time of the year. Apartment is located on the third floor of the building (1st floor = ground floor), there is no elevator. PARKING: Apartment is located in the Old Town where parking is very expensive (up to 8 euros per hour). However, you can park by Bastejkalns or the Opera house, which is just 1 minute walk from the apartment. It costs 3.00 EUR per hour, it is for free from 20:00-08:00 on weekdays, from 17:00 on Saturdays, and whole Sunday is for free. There is also underground parking lot Europark Jēkaba Arkāde around the corner (4min walk), which costs 24.00 EUR per 24 hours (00:00-24:00), or underground parking on Krišjāņa Valdemāra iela 5 (8min walk), which cost 12.00 EUR for 24 hours.
