The space Melanthi’s rooms include hand-blown lamps and wooden ceilings carved by local craftsmen. All bathrooms feature handcrafted mirrors and brass details. Accommodation is equipped with hypoallergenic bedding. Most rooms include a fireplace. LCD cable TV and fridge are standard. All are fully equipped with modern amenities. Set in a restored 18th-century mansion of local architecture, Melanthi Mansion offers rooms overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf and Volos Town. Units feature traditional furnishings and luxurious marble bathrooms. A handmade breakfast with local delicacies is served daily in the breakfast room that features a stone fireplace. Guests can enjoy their drinks in the sun terrace café with views of the sea. Free Wi-Fi access is available in the entire hotel. You can stay with us during Christmas, New Years, or for the Greek Easter with the epitaph procession passing in front of the hotel almost under your window. Guest access Fresh ingredients, care and love compose the recipe for your taste satisfaction. The breakfast at the Melanthi Guest house is a “super show”, as was stated by a guest of ours. The chocolate crepes (pancakes), the Pelion pies, the tiganokouloura (fried bagels), the egg-bread slices with sugar and cinnamon, the pancakes with honey and walnuts, all alternate on a daily basis, accompanying the classic cheese and ham, the flower honey from the area, the fresh juices, our home made marmalades and jams and of course, the coffee or tea of your preference. Breakfast is served at the time you request, in your room, at the breakfast room or in the yard with the magnificent view, after 9:00 o’clock in the morning.
