Enjoy the mountain with small lakes and miles of hiking trails in the immediate vicinity! This sheltered cabin offers fantastic opportunities for both solid mountain trips, fireplace cosiness and relaxation. The place is perfect for couples, families with children and friends on a trip. Convenient place with paved road, running water and garage with lubrication bench. Fireplace, heating cables, washing machine, drying cabinet and heat pump. Three bedrooms with double beds provide plenty of space to retreat. In addition, there are two mattresses and a cot available. The space Sjusjøen provides snow guarantee for much of the winter. The cross-country ski trails in Ringsakerfjellet connect directly to the trail network around Sjusjøen/Hafjell. It takes a few minutes to walk to the nearest ski track and the Birkebeiner ski track goes right up to the cut from the cabin. The trails are prepared regularly and provide wonderful conditions both during the day and in the evening. It is a varied terrain that suits everyone, and you can choose between going down steep hills or staying on long flats. It is possible to ski downhill and into the forest or away and up towards the high mountain. The very sheltered location on a hill at the end of a dead end street gives an experience of being almost alone on the mountain. Large panoramic windows from the living room and master bedroom provide a relaxed atmosphere. Guest access Calculate about 2.5 hours drive from Oslo or 40 min from Lillehammer to Ljøsheim. The area is located 20 km from Natrudstilen ski and alpine resort where there is also a cross-country stadium and biathlon arena. The cabin is close to Hygga mountain inn. The road is paved all the way and there is a garage space for one car and parking for another two just outside the entrance. Other things to note Duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are available and included in the stay. Sacks with wood available for an extra fee. Electricity is paid by guests and measured from the electricity meter on arrival and departure.
