Nearby that's a lot of good places to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner.  From Train or metro: Baixa Chiado it's the nearest metro station and Cais do Sodré the nearest train station and it also has metro, both walking distant form the house, but to go form Cais do Sodré station to the house you have to climb a little bit.
