The Tribe House is a co-living community dedicated to helping humans reach their full potential. We are passionate about the future, community building and games. We currently have 3 members living permanently in the house and 2 rooms are available for short term stays. We have a great spot in the CBD of Christchurch with plenty of space to work and chill while also being a great base to explore the city from. Couples are welcome. The space Upstairs, we have 5 bedrooms with a large office area. There you will have your own desk space with access an external monitor. We have fibre internet (WiFi/wired) for you to use. Each room is equipped with a heater. Downstairs there is a living space suitable for hanging out and watching movies. There is also another office room that is suitable for co-working. Our hidden backyard is suitable for events, which we run occasionally. If you are worried about noise, please message us before booking because we sometimes have events on. You are always most welcome to join our events and usually they wrap up by 12am on the weekends. Weekday events do not run late. When the sun goes down, we have an moonlight cinema available which is hooked up to a computer. There is 1 secure carpark location for you to use. Guest access You will be able access all areas of the house (except other bedrooms). This includes the kitchen, fridge space and pantry space. During your stay As many of us work from home, we will be around to offer advice on what to do. We are usually working during the day but are more than happy to interact with guests or leave them alone. We have events on quite regularly, especially Friday and Saturday. These nights it can be a bit noisy until about 12am. If this may be a problem I would advise you to message us to check what’s on before booking. We would love to meet people that are open minded and future focused. Other things to note 1 car park is available for you on site which is very useful during the work week. After work hours, there is plenty of carpark space in the area. On booking, you should receive access to August Smart Lock which you will be able to access the house with (once you download and sign into the app). If you prefer to use a key, we can provide you with one when you arrive.
