The neighboring town of Perl is the well-known town of Schengen, which is located on the other bank of the Moselle in Luxembourg. The French border is also not too far away. Both can be easily reached on foot or by bike. Various shopping (Aldi, Rewe, Penny, Lidl, Dm, Deichmann, ..) are in the immediate vicinity. Luxembourg City is easily accessible by bus, Trier by train. The landscape in the Moselle Valley and beyond invites you to use hiking trails and bike tours. Wine tastings are also popular.
