Beautiful beachfront apartment "El Palo" in Malaga
Description
The apartment on the 2nd floor is pretty and practically furnished. It is located in the 2nd row to the sea and is quiet in the wintertime. In summer, you are more in the middle of the action, i.e. surrounded by fish restaurants, bars and in the immediate vicinity of the beach. Internet connection and dining table are a good fit for home office. The 150 cm wide sleeping niche provides a feeling of security. The kitchen has a stove and microwave, but no oven. The bathroom was renovated in 2019. Small but nice! Other things to note A topic in summer in southern Spain are the cucarachas (cockroaches). They are endemic to southern Spain, can fly, swim, run, and populate the urban canals in Malaga. Everyone (city, restaurants, even us) uses poison against them. They eat the poison and then fall half dead from the sky and look for a hiding place to die, and like to do so in apartments. This also happens with us. From the end of June to mid-September, it can therefore happen that a cuca gets lost in the house. If you want to be sure that you will not encounter a cuca in summer, you should move to the upper floors in a hotel. In all accommodations that, like us, are next to restaurants and were once old fishermen's houses, one to two stories high, cucas cannot be completely prevented. And that has nothing (!!!) to do with cleanliness. Please keep this in mind when booking.
