The Picture House, Hingham, Norfolk

The Picture House - because of the huge 75” smart HDTV, library of DVDs and collection of original film posters on the walls! It has been beautifully renovated into a luxurious accommodation, comprising of a cosy bedroom with super king size bed with a door leading out to a private garden. The bathroom has a huge walk in shower, loo and basin. The wow factor is the huge open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen with island and a full sized pool table, woodburner and large comfy sofas. The space The Picture House is all on ground level, with a spacious bedroom with a super-king size bed with feather mattress topper and has a door leading out to a private fenced in garden (making it totally dog proof) with table and chairs and a gas BBQ. The main open plan area has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, double oven, coffee machine and island with bar stools. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided as well as fresh milk, orange juice, a bottle of Prosecco and crisps and biscuits. The living area has 2 large sofas, 75” TV with Netflix and all the usual channels, wood burner (logs supplied) a full sized pool table and faux juke box which plays CD’s. There is strong WI-FI signal. The bathroom has a huge walk-in shower, loo and basin and electric towel rail. All towels, linen and bath robes are supplied. There are numerous dog walks as the property is surrounded by quiet country lanes. There are also very good local pubs, The White Hart in Hingham (5 minutes), The Crown in Great Ellingham (10-15 minutes) and The Red Lion in Caston (15 minutes) or Hingham has a good takeaway offering everything from burgers, fish and chips and kebabs and they will deliver. Hingham also has a very good, well stocked Co-op, a newsagent and a butcher. Guest access There is ample private car parking for the entirety of your stay. The Picture House has its own private access and is totally separate from the main Farmhouse. Other things to note The Picture House is set in a very peaceful, rural location with acres of countryside for you to enjoy. Pets are more than welcome - there is a dog bed and bowl provided. There is also a tennis court which guests are welcome to use with the owner’s permission. There are three other very unique accommodations on the farm - The Loft and The Woodland Boat, both have a hot tub and sleep two people and Jimmy’s Shed. All four properties are completely independent of each other but if you wanted to come with three other couples it is the ideal getaway and The Picture House is the perfect place to all get together in the evenings for a meal, a game of pool and a movie!
