Ubatuba – Jardim Pedra Verde – Lázaro beach/Rua Esmeralda, 95 Here are some tips that can make your stay have a special flavor... The Pedra Verde condominium is very safe. Children can ride a bicycle without any danger, because the condominium is monitored 24 hours by security guards who care for the well-being of the condominium members. We never need to lock the house to go to the beach...which is 30 meters away. Lázaro beach is peaceful. In the morning, place the chairs under the large “sun hat” tree and try Madalena's shrimp pie. It's magnificent! A good exercise, and very peaceful, is to swim to the buoys visible in front of you. Lázaro is in the middle of two beautiful beaches. Sununga beach on the left, and Domingas Dias beach on the right. Lázaro gives you walking access to both! For surfers, who love wild and cool beaches, Sununga is perfect. Small, beautiful and in a few days, tremendously wild. When it's calm, it's worth a dip (never let a child go in alone)... it makes a difference. There's the Weeping Grotto... we play with the children that the tears of the grotto increase when we speak louder. Domingas Dias is total meekness. Beautiful...good for diving on its left end, near the rocks. It's not hard to see turtles swimming. Teenagers like to jump off the heart-shaped rock to the left of the beach. If you like hiking and discovering new corners of the coast, you can visit the beach of the 7 fountains, which is also beautiful (there is a bar that makes delicious portions and drinks with seasonal fruits) and is worth the long walk. And better yet... if you're tired, you can come back by boat. Just talk to the local caiçaras and agree on the price. And Bonete beach, with a super quiet trail (about 20 minutes and straight) that leaves Lagoinha beach (two beaches before reaching Lázaro). You can also take a boat from Lagoinha to Bonete. The beach is small, and there's a fishing village... it's a really nice place! To go to the seven fountains... Call the boat that tours the neighboring beaches – (Bonete, Ilha Anchieta, 7 fontes, Cedro, etc.) All on foot – at Lázaro beach, near Bar do Peres, enter a street and keep going straight ahead, you will come out at Saco da Ribeira (beach where the marinas are). On the hill on the right side of Saco da Ribeira, there is a dirt road... keep going straight ahead. You will pass two beaches on the way – Flamengo and Flamenguinho – until you reach 7 Fontes. A walk of about an hour and a half. Part of it on foot – you can drive to Saco da Ribeira, and start walking from there. The best bar/restaurant in Lázaro to eat is Bar do Peres. It has the best passion fruit cocktail! The Madalena pie (shrimp is the best, but there are other flavors too). You can buy it on the beach, or order it on WhatsApp to be delivered to your home. “Madalena's pie” Adega Pedra Verde delivers cold beer, charcoal and potato rufles until midnight. Adega Água e Gás – delivery of gallons of water and gas Shopping: leaving the condominium towards the city, about 500 meters ahead there is a supermarket, pharmacy, pizzeria... everything you need. Fish – sometimes in the morning, there are fishermen on the left side of Lázaro, selling fish. But the best place, with the best price, is the fish market in the city of Ubatuba (the city is 15 km away) in the morning. If the weather is not helping, a good tour is to visit the city aquarium and the Tamar Project. House - Our house is very simple and has been that way to this day by choice. There has never been a TV, nor an antenna that can be connected, so that the stay can be savored in its essence. In the hammocks on the balcony (you have to bring them. There are hooks for three), lots of conversations, conversations and conversations. Bringing a sound system and swinging in the hammock listening to good music is a delightful option. A good tip to improve comfort is to ask everyone who arrives from the beach to wash their feet in the shower (which is behind the house) before entering the house. Otherwise, the sand gets everywhere, and it's a nuisance. If you need someone to help in the kitchen/house, we have Clemilda. She does the weekly cleaning of the house and is available if you need her. She cooks very well. She charges R$150.00 per day... however, if necessary, you can combine ½ period. The sea air is not kind to beach chairs. That is why we kindly ask you to rinse the chairs with fresh water after the beach. Another request I make to smokers is that they do not throw cigarette butts in the garden. The house has plenty of ashtrays, and the environment thanks you. Traffic: if the traffic to the city is too intense, there is an alternative route which is the Rio Escuro road. Leaving the guardhouse, you turn left and walk a few kilometers and you will see a surfboard shop (or something like that) on your right. Enter this little road. It will pass through the middle of the Rio Escuro neighborhood and end in the city. It's all paved and there's only a little bit of dirt road at the very end. If it's raining a lot, that little bit gets bad. The distance is the same!! They say Rio Escuro is dangerous at night... the road is beautiful, but there is no cell phone signal and no lighting. We hope you enjoy it a lot and take care of our home as if it were your own!! Best regards, Rui Amaral Guest access For other cars, you can request a guest card at the entrance, free of charge.
